Weight Loss Tips: 4 MORE Things You Can Do Today to Start Losing Weight

A couple days ago, I posted about how small steps taken consistently will lead to successful weight loss. Well, here’s 4 more of those small steps that you can take.

  1. Just A Minute — Did you know that most cravings will disappear after 2 or 3 minutes? So next time you get that craving for a couple of Oreos, pick up a book or magazine and start reading. Direct your attention elsewhere, and that craving will vanish.
  2. One Bad Apple Don’t Spoil The Whole Bunch — OK, so you messed up a little and ate something you shouldn’t have. DO NOT use that as an excuse to binge for the rest of the day. Acknowledge you made a bad choice and forget about it.
  3. Don’t Be a Mindless Drone — Food is meant to be enjoyed. Don’t sit in front of the TV or read while you’re eating. Being aware of your food will help you enjoy it more, and will help you avoid overeating.
  4. The Rule of 2/3 — Make sure that your plate is 2/3 full of veggies and fruit for at least 2 of your meals.
